The words blurred as I stared at them, my eyes drift close. My head leans, and bobs for a moment jerking me awake once more. I glance around the small alcove near the back of the building, out of every sight, where I could get privacy I so desperately needed for this project. To my relief no one was around, it was silent as ever. My dog Shorty lay at my feet, her harness still on. She once was my eyes, now she was my companion and sometimes when I needed it my eyes.
I sighed in frustration as I looked at the screen in front of me, all the information I needed was here, everything about my tribe's lineage was here. Now I just need to stay aw
Muffled cries and yells seeped through the Med Clinic's metal door. Dammit! Harkin was telling the truth. Spirits let Chloe be ok. He'd never forgive himself if she got hurt because of him Garrus pushed back the thoughts. He slipped his pistol out of its holster, listening to it gently whir into shape. Long breaths settled his thrumming heart into matching its languid pace. His muscles reacted in remembrance and training, dropping his arms in front of his pelvis and shifting his legs into a firmer stance. Elbows relaxed, he felt the weight of the gun held tight in his hands.
"Someone hel-" a high-pitched cry called from the door, break
I originally wrote all of my stories on Fanfiction, today that has changed. I will be posting them on livejournal and here. It will take a while to put them up, but hopefully not too long.
